Our projects involve Git, Linux, server deployment, databases, and ongoing maintenance alongside application development.
We use Git to track changes, manage branches, and keep development organized. On the server side, we work with Linux, configuring services, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining the environment in which our applications run.
For Python applications, we use Nginx and Gunicorn for production deployment and PostgreSQL for database storage and integration with Django applications.
Some projects require additional tools and technologies. We have used Google Vision AI OCR to extract text from scanned documents and images, and Django i18n to manage multilingual websites and their translations.
After deployment, we continue to work with the project through website maintenance and performance optimization. This includes investigating memory usage, finding application or server bottlenecks, resolving production problems, and making improvements when needed.
The tools may change from project to project, but the idea stays the same: we build it, deploy it, and deal with it when something inevitably breaks.
